While winter weather means the holiday season is cold, it shouldn’t stop you from getting into the holiday spirit. In Memphis, there are a number of great events to check out during the holidays. Here are a few of our favorite Memphis holiday events that are sure to get you into a jolly mood.
Snowy Nights at Memphis Botanical Gardens
Stroll through “falling snow” as you take in numerous holiday light displays at Snowy Nights at Memphis Botanical Gardens. There are a number of themed light displays, including a musical light show. You can even plan in the giant Snow Globe and decorate icicle ornaments! There are a number of family-friendly activities to enjoy at Snowy Nights. This event is open nightly December 2nd and 3rd; December 9th and 10th; and December 16th through 23rd from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Tickets cost $8 for MBG members, $10 for non-members, and are free for children under the age of two.
Enchanted Forest: Festival of Trees at Pink Palace
See some of the most beautifully decorated Christmas trees in Memphis at Enchanted Forest: Festival of Trees at Pink Palace. This event features trees that are decorated by professional designers, individuals, and local organizations. This event is open on December 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd from 9 am to 9 pm. You can also take pictures with Santa until Christmas Eve.
