Volkswagen took part in the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Charity Drawing during Monterey Car Week in August, donating a 2019 Volkswagen Arteon SEL Premium R-Line® for a lucky grand-prize winner. Proceeds from all tickets sold at the event benefitted the Natividad Foundation, based out of Salinas, California.
“We are thrilled that the Arteon has helped raise money for high-quality health care and trauma services through this charity drawing,” said Hinrich J. Woebcken, President and CEO, Volkswagen North American Region. “Volkswagen is proud to have worked with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and the Natividad Foundation, in their commitment to raising the bar for local health care.”
The Natividad Foundation works with the mission of improving healthcare services at Salinas’ Natividad hospital, which has served Monterey County for more than 132 years.
The Charity Drawing was hosted by Jay Leno, who handed over the keys to the winning ticket-holder. Volkswagen’s new flagship sedan, the Arteon boasts a 268-horsepower 2.0-liter TSI® engine, DCC® chassis control, and a sweeping and stylish profile.
The new 2019 Volkswagen Arteon will be arriving soon at Gossett VW Porsche. Stay tuned to learn when and how you can be among the first to take one for a test drive.
The all-new 2019 Volkswagen Arteon is slated for a fall 2018 release, and it comes packing a bold look that’s sure to make waves. In addition to its vast array of sleek and stylish features, the Arteon will be available R-Line® Appearance package, which adds sporty features that drivers are sure to love.
The R-Line® Appearance package adds 19- or 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Those unique wheels complement a distinctive front bumper with integrated air intakes finished in stylish gloss black, R-Line air inlets and cover panels, and a gloss black rear spoiler. These features speak to athleticism, style, and performance.
Inside, the R-Line® package adds the R-Line logo to the Volkswagen Modular Infotainment Platform startup screen. Contrast stitching on the steering wheel and shift knob add a touch of sportiness, and steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters and stainless-steel sport pedal covers give the Arteon the feeling of being ready for the track.
This is appropriate given the Volkswagen Arteon’s standard 2.0-liter TSI® turbocharged engine and eight-speed automatic transmission, which make the sedan every bit the performer that it is a looker.
The R-Line® Appearance package will be available when the VW Arteon launches this fall. To learn more about how you can make the stylish, exciting 2019 Volkswagen Arteon yours, stop into Gossett VW Porsche.
