‘Maria Sharapova and Friends, Presented by Porsche’ Brings Tennis Back to LA

Late in 2015, Porsche partnered with tennis superstar Maria Sharapova to create a unique tennis-themed event. Maria Sharapova and Friends, presented by Porsche took place from December 12-13 and featured an all-star assembly of tennis greats including Andy Roddick and Kei Nishikori, as well as less well-knowns like American player Madison Keys. The event featured a two-day tournament between the players and included Andy Roddick and Michael Chang, both of whom came out of retirement briefly to participate. Sharapova wanted to get players ready for the Australian Open in a more serious exhibition match than usual. Staying away from fast food when you’re on a road trip can be seriously difficult, and if you have dietary restrictions like food allergies, it’s even worse.
